WHAT IS A ZONK BURGER?

In 2019, we set out to create the veggie burger joint of our dreams, inspired by the classic American burger stand and a burgeoning new wave of vegetable-focused cuisine. Operating out of the back of a 1994 Ford box truck, Zonk served a small menu of handmade burgers and fries using original recipes and high quality ingredients. After a pandemic induced break in 2020, Zonk Burger was reimagined as a tiny (791 square feet!) neighborhood veggie burger joint in Fort Worth’s River East and we opened our doors in November 2021. 

We’ve expanded our menu from our original roster of burgers and fries to include salads, desserts, an eclectic selection of beers and natural wines, but our mission remains the same; the best veggie burgers in the city and beyond, made from scratch. We take pride in using quality, natural ingredients to develop our recipes from beans, grains, fungi, veggies and spices. 

Come say hi and stop in for lunch, happy hour or dinner, where you can hang in our cozy dining room, have a beer on our inviting, dog friendly patio, or grab a burger and fries to go.
